King Corn: How High Fructose Corn Syrup Ruined America

HFCS makes you hungrier and makes you keep eating much more. This is why America is so fat and unhealthy. Problem is, it’s in just about EVERYTHING you eat.

@22poopoo: GMO corn and soy (which is FULL of pesticides and bacteria) is even in ‘pet food’. Monsanto has a stranglehold on this society!

You can find just about everything you already eat that produced “Organic” in the same store you currently shop at…just ask a Clerk and they will show you where its all located

A vegan diet has to be balanced & have variety in order to be considered a healthy one; so just because your aunt & uncle are not doing well on this diet, is not a fault of being a vegan, but rather that they are not following the principles of a healthy vegan diet.

BTW: the Monsanto Corporation is also located in Canada and are doing the same things to the Canadian farmers as they’re doing in the states. THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED! Of course, this will never happen as long as the almighty dollar remains the most important thing on the planet!

Canada IS NOT a step in the right direction. We have glucose/fructose (HFCS) in MOST of the food on the grocery store shelves. I’m sick and tired of this shit! Within a decade, there won’t be ANY real food left. Most people are so conditioned to eating the “poisons” from infancy, that they don’t even know what real food tastes like.

The first time I tasted HFCS (once I could taste the difference between it and regular sugar after quitting smoking), I thought it tasted like some kind of obnoxious, tainted, starchy honey. In other words, it tastes like shite, but people buy the soda in cases and cases and cases at the grocery store, which means they’re addicted.

note what was put in to make the high fructose corn syrup. A chemical that says HARMFUL on the bottle.

lol What I was saying, as you seemed to have missed it completely, is the life at the bottom of the ocean that relies COMPLETELY on the heat of the earth would keep living and not even notice if we ceased to exist. And the ocean would not freeze up unless the earth stopped producing heat.
